I'm Joslyn Davis at our studio in the ClevverTV headquarters with news on the inspiration behind Taylor Swift's latest single. About the guy who is the subject of “Mine,” T told Rolling Stone that when she was formulating the song she “was reflecting back on a boy [she] liked at a certain time. The song is about what it would be like if [she] actually [would've] let [her] guard down.” And while Taylor does seem at peace with letting this story out now, what she didn't feel all that comfortable with initially was the leaking of the song before it was supposed to be released. However, it all turned out for the best, as the track quickly climbed the charts. But the whole thing made her so emotional that she started crying.
