What has President Obama done? Visit: www.mcnaughtonart.com Against the background of a darkening sky, all of the past Presidents of the United States gather before the White House, as if to commemorate some great event. In the left hand corner of the painting sits a man. That man, with his head bowed appears distraught and hopeless as he contemplates his future. Some of the past Presidents try to console him while looking in the direction of the modern Presidents as if to say, “What have you done?” Many of these modern Presidents, seemingly oblivious to anything other than themselves, appear to be congratulating each other on their great accomplishments. In front of the man, paper trash is blowing in the wind. Crumpled dollar bills, legislative documents, and, like a whisper—the US Constitution beneath the foot of Barack Obama. Allen West wins this week's “them's fightin' words” award. At a Florida GOP fundraiser, the Sunshine State congressman leveled a heated verbal attack on President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. “Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, and take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else,” West said. “You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.” Maybe West and his Tea Party supporters are taking the “best defense is a good offense” approach. Democrats are targeting Florida and West as vulnerable in 2012's elections. But his conservative supporters are also fuming at a redistricting plan passed by the state's Republican-controlled legislature that puts his re-election at risk.

full-tv-episodes.com Jersey Shore is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on December 3, 2009 in the United States. The series follows the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore in the US state of New Jersey. Season 2 followed the cast escaping the cold northeast winter to Miami Beach, with Season 3 returning to the Jersey Shore. The fourth season, filmed in Italy, premiered on August 4, 2011.[1][2][3] MTV confirmed in June 2011 that Season 5 will return to Seaside Heights. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the words “Guido/Guidette,” portrayals of Italian-American stereotypes, and scrutiny from locals because the cast members were not residents of the area.

As consumers in the United States hunted for bargains last Friday (Nov. 25) on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, a few lucky skywatchers in New Zealand were treated to a very different kind of “Black Friday” — a partial solar eclipse that darkened the sky over parts of the southern hemisphere.

I do not own this video or images. Posted under Fair Use. I posted this for historical purposes only. In Honor of the 1177 American lives lost on board the USS Arizona (BB-39) on December 7, 1941. USS Arizona (BB-39) was a Pennsylvania-class battleship of the United States Navy and the first to be named “Arizona”. On March 4, 1913, Congress authorized the construction of Arizona, named to honor the 48th state's admission into the union on 14 February 1912. The ship was the second and last of the Pennsylvania class of “super-dreadnought” battleships. Her keel was laid at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on 16 March 1914. She was launched on 19 June 1915, sponsored by Esther Ross, the daughter of a prominent Arizona pioneer, WW Ross of Prescott, Arizona. I want to pay tribute to those men who gave their lives while serving aboard the USS Arizona on that day. Seeing in this video the cabins and state rooms 65 plus years later just as they were on that fateful day brings strong emotion in me. This ship is not just a bunch of B+W images in a book but a REAL place where men lived, worked, and died.
