What has President Obama done? Visit: www.mcnaughtonart.com Against the background of a darkening sky, all of the past Presidents of the United States gather before the White House, as if to commemorate some great event. In the left hand corner of the painting sits a man. That man, with his head bowed appears distraught and hopeless as he contemplates his future. Some of the past Presidents try to console him while looking in the direction of the modern Presidents as if to say, “What have you done?” Many of these modern Presidents, seemingly oblivious to anything other than themselves, appear to be congratulating each other on their great accomplishments. In front of the man, paper trash is blowing in the wind. Crumpled dollar bills, legislative documents, and, like a whisper—the US Constitution beneath the foot of Barack Obama. danskeprogrammergratis.blogspot.com Horrific scenes followed a soccer game in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday. Fans of the home team Al-Masry stormed the field and violently clashed with players, police and fans of rival club Al-Ahly. Al-Jazeera reports at least 70 people have been killed in the violence.”A security official said the fans chased the players and cornered their supporters on the field and around the stadium, throwing stones and bottles at them,” the report says. “Most of the victims reportedly died from suffocation or head injuries.”The two teams have a long history of bad blood, and clashes have erupted in recent years between their fans.”The report adds that many soccer games in Egypt have been plagued by political violence since the Feb. 2011 revolution that toppled the regime of former President Hosni Mubarak.See fans storming the field in the lead-up to violent clashes in the video below.

Allen West wins this week's “them's fightin' words” award. At a Florida GOP fundraiser, the Sunshine State congressman leveled a heated verbal attack on President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. “Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, and take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else,” West said. “You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.” Maybe West and his Tea Party supporters are taking the “best defense is a good offense” approach. Democrats are targeting Florida and West as vulnerable in 2012's elections. But his conservative supporters are also fuming at a redistricting plan passed by the state's Republican-controlled legislature that puts his re-election at risk.

How long until they start releasing action figures and major motion pictures for SEAL Team 6? The same group of commandos who killed Osama Bin Laden last year was conducting a daring raid that killed Somali pirate captors and saved an American aid worker just as President Obama was headed to give his State of the Union address on Tuesday night. The president, who reportedly pointed at Defense Secretary Leon Panetta as he headed to the podium and said “good job tonight,” had authorized the operation Monday. Somali pirates captured American Jessica Buchanan and a Danish aid worker on Oct. 25 near the central Somalia town of Galkayo—at the edge the country's notoriously dangerous pirate territory. Early Wednesday morning, American commandos landed helicopters in the area and a firefight erupted. Nine pirates were killed and several more were reportedly captured. Both aid workers were safe and in good condition, according to a United Nations official.
