Regis Philbin says his goodbyes on Live With Regis and Kelly Hey everyone this is Nora Gasparian for Hollyscoop. It was a very emotional day for Regis as he shot his last show on Live with Regis and Kelly. “I feel OK, I feel pretty good,” Philbin said after walking out on stage hand-in-hand with Ripa. So will Regis retire or will we be seeing more of him on television? That's the million dollar question on everyone's mind. And he managed to joke about it saying: “I feel the weight of the whole thing…'Where is Regis going?' I don't know – stop asking me!” he joked, referring to his next career move. His cohost Kelly Ripa also gave a very emotional and tearful goodbye speech to Regis who has been the host for 28 years. Wow talk about a good career! The live show was a very special one. There were special guests in the studio audience. It was so special that New York mayor HYPERLINK “gossipcop.com Bloomberg was there to award Philbin the key to the city.
